THERMAL SAFETY SYSTEMS
NON CONTACT MASS SCREENING SYSTEMS TO DETECT INDIVIDUALS WITH ELEVATED TEMPERATURES
With the COVID-19 virus rapidly expanding across the globe, private businesses are rushing to protect their visitors, clients and employees against cross contamination from infected individuals.
Deploying mass fever screening systems at central access points to facilities is a way of detecting if a person is sick with an elevated temperature or fever and separate those individuals for further screening.
The complete fever screening system consists of a thermal camera, a blackbody calibration unit, a computer and operating software which is deployed at main access points of a facility. The equipment is programmed to automatically scan everyone entering though the access point as they walk within the visual range of the thermal camera.
The system will automatically sound and display an alarm if any of the scanned individuals displays a temperature above a preconfigured temperature so that these individuals may be flagged and processed separately. Every ThermalScreen™ Long Range and Mid Range Series Systems comes with a secondary, non contact handheld temperature screening device so that operators can safely confirm the temperature of the alerted individual from a safe distance.
The system automatically archives all the images of alarms, including date and time, and temperature of any alarmed individual.
